Nearly 300 depositors cheated Rs 100 crore by investment company

Out of six partners of an investment company T&C Society, Naraingarh police station in Ambala district has arrested four of them including mastermind of gang Vinod Kumar a resident of Yamunanagar a retired bank employee and three others identified as Sunil Dewan and Rasal Chand both working in State Bank of India Naraingarh and Randhir. Whereas, remaining two accused Kuldeep and Pawan Kumar are yet absconding. Anil Kumar DSP Naraingarh told that teams of CIA Staff has conducted several raids for their arrest.

A case was registered against the investment company T&C Society on February 11, 2020 when they closed down their office and all went underground along with investors’ deposited money worth Rs 100 crore as they avoided to refund the amount of fixed deposits after these were matured for one reason or the other. When fraud was detected, depositors approached police station and finding improper response from police fo a long time the investors gathered outside the DSP office and gave ultimatum to police if the alleged accused were not arrested immediately they would commit suicide outside police station demanding to hand over case to CBI for investigation.

Gurmel Singh SHO Naraingarh police station told that alleged accused used to convince visitors to the bank arriving to deposit money luring them with 12% rate of interest much higher offered by bank on their deposits with T&C Society. Information reveals, during five days police remand by the court, police was able to recover only Rs 7000 from the prime accused Vinod Kumar as against Rs 50 crore and Rs 5000 from Randhir arrested by the police. Information further reveals that all accused had invested money collected from depositors in purchase of properties including plots, flats and shops at Pinjore, Panchkula an Naraingrah in the name of their relatives.
