New PPCC affairs in-charge Yadav accompanied by Sidhu and Warring pay obeisance at Golden Temple

Amritsar, January 8 – New PPCC affairs in-charge Devendra Yadav, Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and former PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu  visited Golden Temple here today during the ongoing war of words with in the party leaders in Punjab.

It was also learnt that Partap Singh Bajwa also had meeting with the Yadav today.

Yadav who was here in Punjab,  paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple, Baghwan  Shri Balmik Temple at RamTirath.

Navjot Sidhu spoke to media outside the Golden Temple said, “I never spoke against any of the party worker rather respect even an ordinary party worker from the core of his heart. I have no individual group and never went against the party ideology.  I have respect for the 3 crore Punjabis and 2 crore Punjabis who are living abroad as my fight is for them to protect their rights”.

Sidhu said, “So far, four or five chief minister who had ruled Punjab so far have merely minted money to fill their own pockets and never thought for the wellbeing of People of Punjab. Past chief ministers in Punjab had so far ditched people of State”, he quipped.

Speaking about the Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khera said that he was illegally detained by the Punjab Government and described the Punjab Government action against him as purely political vendetta.
