Bengaluru : The new Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Hyderabad trial run, managed to cover the distance between Hyderabad and Bengaluru in slightly over seven and half hours. The two destinations are 610 km apart. South Western Railway (SWR) officials said introduction of Vande Bharat on the route will help passengers in a big way as it will reduce travel time and make travel more comfortable.
The train left Kacheguda at 5.30 am and reached Yeshwantpur station in bengaluru around 1.15 pm . In the return direction, it departed from bengaluru around 2 pm. Haning composition of eight cars, the train can carry 530 passengers, including 390 in regular coaches, 52 in executive chairs and 88 in motor cars. At present, 20 train services connect Bengaluru and Hyderabadd , including superfact Rajdhani, mail express and others. Most of the trans take 12 hours to reach Kacheguda from Bengaluru.
Vande Bharat train services ‘ Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysore ‘ that are operational in Karnataka have been running almost full receiving good patronage. The recently introduced Vande Bharat train on the Bengaluru-Hubballi-Dharwad route has 60 to 70% occupancy.
