Newly appointed Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh will take charge of his service on June 22

Amritsar :  Giani Raghbir Singh, who has been appointed Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib (The highest Sikh temporal seat of Sikhs) by the Executive Committee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), will take charge if his service on June 22.

SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami said that a ceremony will be held on June 22 at 10 am at Akal Takht Sahib to hand over charge of service as Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib to Giani Raghbir Singh, which will be attended by all the Panthic jathebandis, Nihang Singh Dals, Sikh sampradas, Gurmat Taksals, representatives of Sikh organizations including Panthic leaders, saints and Sangat.

SGPC President urged the Panthic personalities to attend this ceremony. Meanwhile, SGPC Secretary Partap Singh said that preparations are being made by the SGPC for this ceremony, and invitations are being sent by the manager of Sri Darbar Sahib.
