Notorious gangster Kala Khairampuria admitted firing in Haryana for ransom demand

Hisar: Notorious gangster Rakesh alias Kala Khairampuria hailing from village Khairampur in Hisar district was having Rs one lakh award for his arrest and he was most wanted by Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi Police He was arrested by the Gurugram Special Task Force (STF) team. He was involved in 20 cases of murder and attempted murder registered against him in different police stations. During two days remand Kala Khairampuria admitted the incident of 40 rounds of firing at Mahindra Automobiles showroom in Hisar and demanded Rs 5 crore ransom on 24th June, followed by demanding from another two auto parts dealer ransom amount worth Rs 2 crore each. Entire automobile markets and jewellery shops in  Hisar remained closed in protest after the death of JJP leader Ravinder Saini who was shot dead outside his showroom at Hansi on 25th June, led by businessman and a leader of Haryana Traders Association Bajrang Garg.

The STF team has brought the gangster to India from Thailand. He was arrested at the airport late on Friday night. Kala was absconding after he came out of jail on parole in 2020. While being out of jail, he committed five murders and was running Bhau Gang network along with another companion Sahil from Thailand. STF’s preliminary investigation reveals that prior to extorston business Kala was involved in seven murder cases. Information also reveals that Kala had threatened Bajrang Garg six hours after the incident of firing at Mahindra Automobiles showroom in Hisar and warned not to interfere in his extorsion business and had a telephonic talk with him for 16 minutes and 42 seconds, said that he is going to collect ransom from as many as 23  businessmen in his list.

Past scenario of Kala Khairampuria reveals that prior to entering the extorsion business he was working as a commission agent to arrange liquor vends to the wine contractors and used to get Rs 25,000 to 30,000 commission for arranging a vend. In the meanwhile, he came in contact with gangster Bhau and started working for his gang. In 2015, Kala murdered his uncle and managed to flee when remained in touch with the criminals. In 2018 Kala was arrested and sentenced life imprisonment by Hanumangarh court in Rajasthan, spent two years in jail and managed to flee after he was relesead on parole and in this period committed several crimes. He was a terror in Hisar and Adampur area during this period. In the meantime Kala came in contact with the Bhau gang left for abroad through a fake passport.
