November 26 will be celebrated as Constitution Day says ADC Ayush Sinha

Yamunanagar : Additional Deputy Commissioner Ayush Sinha said that November 26 will be celebrated as Constitution Day to make the people of the country aware about the Constitution. The enlightened people of the city as well as social organizations have to be a part of this program and organize it successfully. Earlier, Haryana Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi gave necessary guidelines regarding the organization of Constitution Day through VC organized from Chandigarh.
Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi said that on the occasion of Constitution Day, programs will be organized at all universities in the state as well as at the district level. He said that better coordination has to be done to organize the program successfully. The Additional Deputy Commissioner assured the Chief Secretary that all the work will be done in compliance with the guidelines given in view of the program.
Taking a meeting of the concerned officials after the VC, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ayush Sinha said that instead of making this program a government program, participation of social and religious institutions has to be ensured in it. During the program, on Constitution Day, speakers will also shed light on the subject of Constitution. The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that on this day the country accepted the Constitution. Due to which the Ministry of Social Justice, Government of India, taking a decision on 19 November 2015, has decided to celebrate 26 November every year as Constitution Day in the country. In this series, by organizing the program, work will be done to make the general public as well as the young generation aware about the importance of the Constitution. He said that the students who win quiz competitions on Constitution topics in schools and colleges, calligraphy writing of the Preamble of the Constitution, debate competitions will also be honored by the chief guest in a program to be organized at the district level.
