After World Health Report that the process for testing suspected corona positive cases takes too much time causing delay in treatment of a suspected patients suffering from corona disease, Haryana state government has placed an order for one lakh Rapid Testing Kits to give report within 15 to 20 minutes and stocks of kits is likely to receive within few hours, talking to media persons state health minister Anil Vij said. Students of Government Polytechnic Institute Lisana has developed a tunnel Entry Gate installed at Haryana Secretriate Chandigarh capable to sanitize every person at the entry point within seconds on a single paddle. Information reveals, with the number of another 23 corona positive cases in Haryana state in past 24 hours the total number of corona positive cases reaches more than 160, which include 12 cases identified at Gurugram and others identified at Faridabad, Nuh, Kaithal and Sonepat districts. Meanwhile, as many as 18 corona patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals in the state in this period.
According to health department information, Gurugram in the state tops with 38 corona positive cases identified so far, followed by maximum number of cases in Palwal and Nuh districts. Meanwhile, Faridabad and Gurugram districts have been declared Hot Spots in the state. Information reveals, a pregnant woman suffering from cold, cough, fever and respiratory system admitted at Sector 6 government hospital Panchkula was detected corona positive by the doctors, gave birth to dead female child and was immediately shifted to isolation ward and when her condition further worsened she was referred to PGI Chandigarh by the doctors. None of her family member including husband was permitted to see her.
Similarly,21 new corona positive cases have been reported in Punjab in past 24 hours as such total number of corona positive cases has been identified 115, of them 105 corona positive cases belong to ‘Zamaatis’ present in the event at Nizamuddin mosque New Delhi presently residing at Derrabassi in Punjab, two each at Ludhiana and one each at Faridkot and Muktsar. Meanwhile, K. Selvaraj DGP (Jails) Haryana told media persons that there are 17669 prisoners lodged in 14 jails in the state having capacity to accommodate 20306 prisoners, of them 3817 prisoners have been released from jails which include 2159 prisoners released on parole and 1658 prisoners released on bail. He told that isolation wards for corona virus suspected prisoners are being set up inside the jails, meetings between the prisoners and their visiting relatives has been banned, new prisoners are being lodged in jails after a complete medical check up and social distancing is being observed inside the jails.
The family members of an 90 years old woman Sukhraj Devi resident of Yamunanagar died due to corona disease and her family members as well as relatives were not permitted to attend her funeral procession witnessed deceased’s last rites through mobile video call only. Most of her relatives failed to reach Yamunanagar due to cancellation of transport as well train services. According to Haryana state police data, 6376 persons has been taken into custody by police allegedly violating lock down directions, cases has been registered against215 persons, 1892 FIRs has been registered, 2613 persons have been arrested, 7044 vehicles has been impounded by police and amount worth Rs 9.26 crore has been recovered towards fine from those violating rules so far.
