Oscars 2023: RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ wins best original song at the 95th Academy Awards

Telugu-language film RRR song “Naatu Naatu” has won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. This is the first Indian film song to win an Oscar.

The song became massively popular soon after its release in March 2022. It is composed by MM Keeravani with lyrics by Chandrabose and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. The song Choreographed by Prem Rakshit and the song’s hook steps became a rage around the world.

This song won in the same category at the Golden Globes, Best Song at the Critics Choice Awards and the Hollywood Critics Association.

RRR has won hearts across the world. It’s running full houses in Japan and recently held its largest screening yet in a Los Angeles cinema. Naatu Naatu song filmed outside the Presidential Palace in pre-war Kyiv, Ukraine, is an infectious dance battle between Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s characters Raju and Bheem, versus their British counterparts.
