Out of 12 who were found dead in Georgia restaurant,11 were from the State of Punjab: Aujla

Amritsar, December 17 -Congress Member Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla here today said that among twelve people who were found dead in the Georgia restaurant wherein eleven were from the State of Punjab.

Talking to FW Aujla said that nevertheless to say that he didn’t have the antecedents of eleven people who were from the state of Punjab but at the same time he urged the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, NRI Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Government of India to do the needful in this regard for the repatriation of bodies.

He said that all the Punajbi guys had gone there for the survival of their families but never knew about the destiny.

However, Aujla said in a post on X, “12 Punjabi’s have died  tragically from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at the ski resort in Gudauri, Georgia. I urge @ CM BhagwantMann & KuldeepSingh AAP NRI Minster to take immediate steps to bring back bodies & support grieving families”.
