Over 200 Nigerians at Delhi supplying self-prepared drugs in Haryana & Punjab

According to investigation by STF Hisar police, a network of over 200 Nigerians arrived at Delhi about two to three years ago on study or work Visa to start textile and shoe business presently residing in groups in residential colonies at Delhi. STF investigation revealed that these Nigerians are involved in illegally manufacturing Heroin by mixing raw material brought from Africa and supplying in bulk quantity in neighboring states Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan having much demand for heroin.

Lokender Singh SP Hisar told media persons that Hisar police recently arrested a Nigerian from whom recovered raw material used for manufacturing heroin. He said, two police teams have been deployed to Delhi to investigate matter further and find out gangs involved in manufacturing drugs unethically with harmful chemicals and supplying in adjoining states thus playing with the life of consumers. Information reveals that large number of drug addicts in Haryana state lost their lives due to excessive use of drugs in past sometime and their bodies were confined to flames by the family without postmortem to find out the cause of death in most of the cases.

According to information, Hisar police arrested two youths carrying 101 gm heroin who disclosed procured from Nigerians residing at Uttam Nagar and Anand Vihar Delhi. Meanwhile, STF Hisar intensified investigations in this regard and came to know that more than 200 Nigerians residing in rented houses at Uttam Nagar, Luxmi Nagar, Shastri Nagar and few others in posh South Delhi colonies in groups preparing and supplying heroin all over in adjoining states. Information also reveals that these Nigerians staying at Delhi since a long time falsely pose as if they are unaware of English and other Indian languages.

SP Hisar told media persons that police arrested three Nagerians carrying 13.728 kg powder used to manufacture heroin from Cantonment area who were originally hailing from Africa and identified as Charles alias Kajilo, Prince and Torra. The chemical procured from them was sent to FSL laboratory for examination. During police remand arrested accused admitted procuring raw chemicals used for manufacturing heroin from Africa and maximum quantity of the same being supplied in Haryana and Punjab having much demand. They told that the delivery of bulk supplies is being made by themselves, whereas small consignments are being collected by agents from different areas against payment.

STF Hisar had arrested two drug suppliers carrying heroin, both identified as Pradeep resident of village Pabda and Ashwani resident of village Khewad and during preliminary investigation theydisclosed brought frug from a Nigerian Frank Joseph arrested by the police during raid. Meanwhile, Anti Narcotic Cell in the state on a clue arrested another Nigerian identified as Nanoruka arrived for delivery of heroine consignment at Yamunanagar. Talking to media persons at Ambala Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said, decision has been taken to wipe out drugs smuggling from the state completely and Anti Narcotic Cell in the state has started massive drive against this evil.

A couple of days ago CIA Staff Ambala police led by Virender Walia arrested three persons including a female on Delhi-Amritsar highway near Parao police station Ambala Cantt and recovered from them 3 kg opium brought from  Bihar. The arrested accused were identified as Subodh Sahni, Duryodhan Sahni and his wife Neelum all residents of Hari Nagar, Sitamadi in Bihar. During police remand they told brought drugs from Bihar for supply to Binny and  Shishpal Mahant in Punjab for which they are paid Rs 10000 each trip and use to spend Rs 4000 towards fare and other expenses thus saving amount worth Rs 6000 in every trip. Jashandeep Singh Randhawa SP Ambala told media persons that a police teams has been sent to Bihar to trace out supplier of drugs and another team to Punjab for the arrest of Binny and Shishpal Mahant allegedly smuggling drugs from Bihar.
