Over 3400 dengue patients in Haryana worries health department

According to state health department information record number of over 3400 patients in past four years suffering from dengue fever in Haryana have been reported till October 19, 2021 of them nearly 1700 patients treated in government hospitals and over 1050 patients treated in private hospitals in the state. State health department data reveals, district wise number of dengue patients was recorded as over 330 cases in Panchkula,  272 cases in Sirsa, 210 cases in Faridabad, nearly 200 cases in Sonepat, nearly 195 cases in Gurugram, 195 case in Nuh (Mewat), 175 cases in Faridabad,  132 cases in Kaithal, 125 cases in Ambala, 119 cases in Mahindergarh, 87 cases in Yamunanagar, 86 cases in Hisar, 85 cases in Jind,  82 cases in Kurukshetra,  75 cases each in Rohtak and Charkhi Dadri, 63 cases in Bhiwani, 57 cases in Jhajjar, 43 cases in Rewari, 39 cases in Panipat,  38 cases in Karnal and 20 cases in Palwal districts till October 20 this year.

According to information, samples of more than40000 suspected persons were collected so far in hospitals, of them nearly 3400 were found suffering from dengue fever in the state. Dr Usha Gupta Director Health Department Haryana told that fogging has been started at all sensitive places  in every district to stop infection due to dengue mosquitoes all over in the state with the help of 1410 manually operated and 35 automatic  machines mounted on automobile vehicles.  She said, there are 27 laboratories in the state for free checking of dengue patients. She said, state health department has served notices to more than 70000 persons found not observing directions to clean their toilets, drains, garbage scatters in and around houses and room coolers filled with polluted water attracting mosquitoes.
