Talking to media persons Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khatter said that total number of 15742 persons arrived in Haryana were kept under observation and samples of 1102 persons suspected suffering from corona virus were collected, of them 885 persons were found corona negative and samples of 22 suspected persons were found corona positive. Earlier, 35 suspected corona positive cases were identified in Haryana state which included 10 cases at Gurugram, 6 cases at Faridabad, 3 cases at Ambala and 4 cases each at Panipat and Sirsa. He said, as many as 13 patients suffering from corona have been cured and discharged from hospitals in the state.
According to state health department, nearly 1277 persons after attending religious Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin Mosque New Delhi had gathering of 3400 persons moved to Haryana and samples of most of them were collected by the state health department, of them 107 persons were found hailing from other countries and their passports were seized and FIRs were lodged against them by the state government. Cabinet Health Minister Anil Vij told that six new corona positive cases has been identified in Haryana of them five persons had attended Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin New Delhi, which include three persons identified corona positive at Hatheen in Palwal district originally hailing from Bangladesh and two corona positive cases at Ambala both arrived after attending religious gathering at Nizamuddin Masjid New Delhi. Samples of another 12 corona suspected persons including 10 persons from Bangladesh were collected in Palwal districts of them three cases were found corona positive, samples of seven cases were found corona negative and two other cases have been sent for examination at PGI Rohtak.
According to information, search for 150 persons in Haryana state suspected corona positive is going on at present, besides 162 others are yet under observation at Palwal. According to health department Ambala, out of corona virus suspected persons arrived at Juma Masjid Ambala Cantt after attending Tablighi Jamaat religious event at Juma Masjid Nizamuddin New Delhi were identified originally hailing from Bangladesh, Nepal and Srilanka. Among two corona positive cases include a 60 years old woman from Nepal and 55 years old person from Maharashtra stated serious.
