Addressing a press conference, former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda making an attack over ruling BJP in alliance with JJP government said that people of Haryana state are fed up with increasing cases of crimes, corruption and caste in the state having long list of scams of value worth crores of rupees in past years, some of them include paddy scam, recruitment scam, papers-leak scam, electric motors purchase scam, medicines procurement scam and now the latest rice millers scam worth crores of rupees exposed recently which indicates that ruling state government is not a alliance government but named as scam government caused huge revenue loss to government in past few years. Hooda said, it is surprising that government has neither taken action to investigate these scams properly nor taken action against those involved in these scams for the reasons best known to them.
Hooda said that as a result of increasing crimes and corruption ruling government will have to bear consequences in approaching mid-term Vidhan Sabha elections at Baroda constituency and at the same time challenged ruling chief minister Manohar Lal Khatter to contest against him in coming mid terms polls. In reply to a question, Congress leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha said that Chief Minister Khatter has nothing to say about present or future that is why he talks for past only and must know about the contestant got highest number of votes in last Vidhan Sabha polls, whereas his Karnal Vidhan Sabha constituency was able to have minimum voting and maximum number of NOTA votes.
Hooda said that except criminals in the state, no one including those involved in trade & industry, government employees, farmers are happy with the ruling government. He said, people are worried over fast increasing prices, taxes and repeatedly increasing prices of petrol and diesel in past sometime. Ban over increase in DA is another matter of concern for government employees. He said, 75% reservation in jobs for Haryana youths in private sector is baseless announcement by the ruling government should know that it was implemented in Haryana state in 2011 when Congress was ruling in the state.
