New Delhi : Union Minister and former Army chief Gen VK Singh on Tuesday expressed his belief that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will eventually merge with India “on its own.”
The declaration was made during a press conference in Dausa, Rajasthan, where he was addressing questions regarding the demands of the people in PoK who seek the opening of the border with India.
Gen VK Singh also pointed out India’s success as the host of the G20 Summit, highlighting the country’s growing prominence on the global stage.
When questioned about the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) choice for the chief minister’s candidate in the upcoming state assembly elections, Gen VK Singh clarified that the BJP does not typically announce its chief ministerial candidate before such elections.
