SAS Nagar (Mohali) based student Prabhmeet Singh Bhatti set up a Punjabi language table at Offenburg University in Germany. Prabhmeet’s father Harjinder Singh Bhatti is a journalist told to media that he feels proud of his son, who represented his mother tongue at the international platform.
The basic idea of the University through this event was to connect people through language. It took place inside the campus in a relaxed atmosphere.
Through this, students taught basic idioms in their native language to others.
Other than Punjabi, some Indian students also set up tables in Hindi, Kannada, and Sanskrit.
The students were rewarded for their commitment with financial compensation (Tutorenvertrag) or a certificate for international commitment (helpful for the Stibet scholarship).
