Priyanka accuses Modi of misleading people by exploiting religious sentiments

Fatehpur Sikri : Priyanka Gandhi accused the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading people by exploiting their religious sentiments at the time of elections.

Addressing a public meeting during a roadshow  Gandhi cautioned people against such a leader who only lied to people all these years.

She pointed out, he didn’t give anything to the poor but only to a handful of billionaire friends. She said, he gave them everything from ports to airports and infrastructure projects.

Besides, Priyanka Gandhi added, he bought two aeroplanes for himself for Rs 16,000 crores bit did not spare Rs 15,000 crores to provide debt relief to the farmers.

The Congress General Secretary said, while Modi’s billionaire friends were prospering, poor people and farmers were suffering. She said, Modi did not do anything to ameliorate the plight of common and ordinary people.

She asked, why was Modi not providing jobs to youth when 30 lakh vacancies were lying in various government departments. She said, by bringing Agnipath scheme Modi had blocked the chances of youth to serve the country.

Taking a dig at Modi’s foreign trips she said, where he can be seen in Russia or taking swings with Chinese President, he never bothered to meet the common people of the country.

Priyanka Gandhi observed that too much power turns people too arrogant. She said, same thing had happened to Modi. He was having too much power and the people around him were too scared to speak truth. She said, Modi remains disconnected from the masses and does not know anything about their problems.

She reiterated the promise of Right to Apprenticeship with a guaranteed income of Rs one lakh for one year. Besides, she said, Rs 5000 crore corpus fund for the young entrepreneurs and they will be provided easy loans.
