Haryana Home & Health Minister Anil Vij in a meeting with HSIIDC Managing Director Vikas Gupta and Sunil Sharma as well as senior officers of industries department in the state took decision to develop Ideal Industrial Estate at Ambala especially for the entrepreneurs having tiny and micro industrial units in the area or are willing to set up fresh manufacturing units under Start up scheme introduced by Haryana state government recently. Vij said that there are hundreds of tiny manufacturing units producing scientific goods and spare parts for scientific instruments located in thickly populated areas in Science City Ambala but failed to expand their business due to lack of facilities, support, technical know- how and in some cases shortage of funds in-spite of entrepreneurship. Vij directed HSIIDC officers to complete this project on priority bases since prosperity of the area depends upon industry and also to meet employment opportunities for the youths
Vij said, Ideal Industrial Estate will have common facility centre, a common tool room, an exhibition hall for the display of products manufactured by industrial units situated in the complex and all other facilities at a place including Padma scheme by the government for small scale industry including provision to get loan from bank. Vij said, there is a proposal to construct premises within Estate for allotment to entrepreneurs unable to construct their own building on lease basis enabling them to start production without delay. He said, there will be provision to construct sale counters in the complex for display and sale of products manufactured by the units.
Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khatter on Friday invited large number of artists from Haryana and Punjab to discuss long pending proposal for developing Film Industry for which between 60-70 acre area has already been identified at a prime location at Pinjore in Panchkula district in the state and work will start immediately. He said, proposed Film City in the area will boost entertainment activities in Haryana and adjoining Punjab and Himachal states. Among artists present at the occasion were Punjabi singers Diler Mehndi and Pammi Bai, Haryanvi-dancer Sapna Choudhary, singer Dolly Guleria and many more all appreciated the role of Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khatter for developing Film City in the area not only in entertainment sector but large number of developmental activities in Haryana state in his past seven years rule in the state.
