Quality control system likely to boost MSME sector

Government of India has decided to encourage small scale industry introducing production linked incentive scheme for small manufacturers producing quality consumer goods manufactured by them and information reveals that initially have selected more than 60 products, most of them being imported from other countries for which production linked incentive (PLI) scheme has been started and according to entrepreneurs it will not only inject power in the arms of small scale manufacturers producing consumer products but also boost sale of small scale industrial units involved in manufacture of essential commodities products but also reduce imports of such products from other countries, besides the local manufacturers of such products would get plenty of export orders from other countries also. Our country has been importing a large number of essential commodity products from China in past years, in-spite of the fact the products imported from China earlier flooded in indigenous markets due to cheaper in price in-spite of the fact these are poor in quality as well as limited manufacturing in the country.
