Racket cheated over 280 youths Rs 6 crore in army recruitments

CIA Staff Haryana police arrested mastermind of a racket Manzoor Ahmed Gani  resident of Shivpuri in district Bara Chatti in Jammu-Kashmir allegedly cheated amount worth over  Rs six crore from more than 280 youths willing to service join army and issued fake recruitment letters to join training. Police registered a case on the complaint of Rohtash Sharma a resident of Defence Colony Ambala Cantt running a Academy in 2019 and in-spite of several raids police failed to trace out prime accuse absconding since then and now arrested most wanted criminal on which an award for Rs 25000 was announced by the police for his arrest.  Manzoor Ahmed Gani was arrested from Jamia Nagar Delhi and police also arrested his another female accomplish Pravesh Kumari a resident of Gharaunda in Karnal district few days back and court remanded her to police custody for four days and she admitting frauds between Rs 6 to 10 crores. Gani was also produced in the court and remanded to police custody.

According to information, Parvesh Kumari was also providing employment services to youths in territorial army, military engineering services, Indian reserve police and other departments after charging amount worth Rs 4.20 lakh from each towards services assuring jobs and usually call them for training in a camp at Jammu issuing them fake appointment and training letters and both Gani and Pravesh were later lingering on matter for one reason or the other for a long time.

According to In-charge Crime Investigation Branch of Haryana police Deepender Singh Rana, nearly 280 youths from Ambala, Jind,  Karnal, Panipat and Sonepat districts were assured jobs in army by the racket had cheated amount between Rs 6 to 10 crore from such large number of youths which included nearly 200 youths from Ambala district assuring them jobs in army by large number of persons were involved in the racket..
