After busting a racket involved in leakage of examination papers of
different government jobs earned huge money selling these papers in
Haryana state, now has busted another racket involved in cheating
unemployed youths in the state by issuing fake interview as well as
appointment letters for government jobs by Haryana Staff Selection
Commission, recruitment in police and other government departments in
past about a year when cheats earned huge amount of money at the time
entire state was facing the terror of COVID-19 epidemic outbreak.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha speaker Gian Chand Gupta ordered investigation
when sensational scam exposed on October 17, 2021over fake appointment
letters issued to 13 youths for job in Vidhan Sabha and prime accuse
Jitender a permanent resident of village Rathedi in Ambala district
mastermind in the racket was trapped in police net on the complaint lodged
in Sector 3 police station at Chandigarh on the complaint of Vidhan Sabha
speaker, who admitted allegations that amount ranging between Rs 5 to 15
lakh each was collected according to the job naming another youth Satish
Bhardwaj a resident of Sirmour in Himachal Pradesh also involved in the
conspiracy. The complainants told that when they approached to attend
interview or join duty were informed that no such letter was issued by the
office.
Investigation revealed, large number of fake documents were recovered
from prime accuse Jitender during a raid, who usually introducing himself
a personal assistant of a minister and during search police recovered about
50 fake interview, appointment letters from his possession and also seized a
laptop and his mobile phone from his residence at his village Rachhedi.
Information reveals, police also recovered stamps and Identity Cards of
Haryana Staff Selection Commission, police headquarter and other
government departments. Jitender’s whose father Kashmiri Lal was
retired from army and he himself was earlier working as a clerk in
industry department.
According to police information, laptop and mobile phone seized by the
police is being sent to government laboratory to recover deleted data.
Police also arrested two persons identified as Ganesh Nishad resident of
Budail in Sector 45 Chandigarh and Paras Kumar resident of Kalal Majra
Shazadpur in Ambala district prepared fake documents for prime accuse
Jitender. Both arrested were produced in the court and remanded to
police custody for two days. Jitender’s mother Gurjit Kaur told that her son
was working at Chandigarh and visiting home occasionally but they are
unaware where he was working. According to police information, the
involvement of several employees working in government department
including police headquarter and Haryana Staff Selection Commission is
suspected.
