Amritsar, May 25 – Senior Congress leader member parliament Rahul Gandhi assured farmers to bring effective crop policy and to save the existing constitution of Ambedkar which BJP going to replace with new one.
Addressing the mammoth election rally in favour congress Lok Sabha candidate Mr. Gurjit Singh Aujla, Rahul Gandhi assured that after winning his party will waive off farmers loan besides to bring effective crop insurance policy wherein farmer will get compensation of their damaged yield with in the period of 30 days.
In a scathing attack to BJP leaders and PM Modi, Rahul claimed that BJP would change the exiting constitution of India which was brought by Baba Sahib Ambedkar. He said that it was direct attack on poor people of the nation but his party would not allow it to happen. He said that constitution of Ambedkar Sahib was the thought of Sikh saint Guru Nanak Dev ji and other Indian saints which give equality and respect to all sections of society but BJP was going to replace the constitution.
Coming on farmers issue, Rahul questioned if PM Modi could waive rupees sixteen thousands crore of rich industrialists then why such policy was not adopted for farmers community. He said Modi could bring new laws for Ambani and Adani groups to extend special favors to them but not to farmers.
Rahul assured farmers said Congress party would waive farmers loan after forming the government in Delhi.
Rahul blamed Modi Government for inflicting atrocities on farmers when they were protesting against the new agriculture laws. So in such circumstances what good to be expected from such government led by BJP, he quipped.
He assured farmers for guaranteed MSP in order to improve their economical conditions. He said Modi did nothing good for farmers in the last ten years but inflicted atrocities even allegedly described them as terrorists.
He said that Congress after winning, will introduce Maha Lakshmi schemes for women wherein one lady in the family would get Rs. 8500 per month in their account and total rupees One lakh yearly in their bank account as it would prove direct attack on poverty.
Rahul said that his government would give 30 lakhs jobs forthwith after forming government to unemployed youth of the nation.
He said monthly payment of ASHA workers and MANREGA would be enhanced .
He said today he paid obeisance in the Golden Temple where he performed SEWA and got immense peace while sitting there.He said that Golden Temple is a such a pious place where everybody gets inner peace. He said that Golden Temple should be ‘Global Centre” in order to disseminate the message of peace. He said that for this he will do best what he could for such noble and pious cause.
