Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra enters Ambala

Ambala: Warm welcome was given to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra on Monday when entered  Ambala Cantt after covering 255 km distance iof seven districts of the state in eight days. Large number of residents of the town including children, youths, old age persons, women, farmers and entrepreneurs of Ambala scientific industry welcomed Yatra at the National Highway No. 1.

Senior congress leaders present in Bharat Jodo Yatra including AICC media in-charge Jai Ram Ramesh, leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan sabha Bhupinder Singh Hooda former Haryana Chief Minister, Congress Convener Shakti Singh, HPCC president Uday Bhan, and Rao Daan Singh were present while addressing a press conference.

The main issues discussed in the press conference included Congress leaders expressed extremely poor condition of roads observed during Bharat Jodo Yatra which have become worst in past eight years BJP government rule. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing said that unemployment, rising prices of all essential commodities, increasing crimes, drug smuggling in Haryana state, drug addiction among youths, corruption in government offices and poor administration by the government are some of the vital issues the ruling  government has failed to control.

Hooda said that the farmers in the state demand guaranteed minimum support price of their crops as well as change in land acquisition rules by the government which are unfavorable for them. Hooda said, ruling Chief Minister had assured farmers to double their income but failed to fulfil their promise and the condition of farmers becoming bad to worst.
