This time Yatra is not only on foot

New Delhi : The journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir is over. Now, Congress is going to start “Bharat Jodo Yatra” again in the same way from West India to East India. This time again Rahul Gandhi will lead the journey. But this time he will not walk the whole way, Cars will also be used in some areas.

Needless to say that last year from September 7 to January 30, Rahul Gandhi walked in the first phase of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul got very good response on the journey of about 4 thousand kilometers. The Congress says Rahul’s journey has infused new vigor among Congress workers. Many workers who became lazy and inable or disaffected, those workers and leaders have rejoined the core organization of the party. The grand old party now wants to drag the streak of that success till 2024 Lok Sabha elections. So that public relations can continue till 2024 Lok Sabha.

According to sources, preparation work for yatra also done, the states which were left out in the previous yatra will be touched in this phase of the yatra. But this journey is going to be more challenging for the Congress than the previous one. Because this journey will include some states where the organizational strength of the Congress is practically zero. In states like Bihar, Bengal, the hand camp does not have that effect. Hand camps are now empty in most states of Northeast India. It is quite a challenge to get a response on the journey.

The journey will start from next month means December. It will continue until mid-February. The Lok Sabha polls may be announced by mid-February. After that, all have to jump into the Lok Sabha election campaign. So the time in hand is two and a half months. Moreover, the road of this journey is also very friendly. Jungles, Maoist-infested areas, hills, all fall on the way. So it has been decided, this time the entire journey will not be on foot. At times, some areas will have to use a car for the journey.
