New Delhi : In the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, Ramlala will be seated on an eight feet high ‘Singhasan’ studded with gold marble. After Crown, now his throne also, which is being prepared by the artisans of Rajasthan, will reach Ayodhya by 15th December. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Anil Mishra said that the eight feet high, three feet long and four feet wide throne will be kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. The idol of five year old Ramlala will be placed on it.
The Trust member Mishra said that devotees of Lord Ram have also donated gold and silver items in large quantities. He said that since these gold and silver items, coins and bricks donated before and after the formation of the Trust will melt, they are facing a lot of difficulties in keeping them safe. Therefore, they will be melted and kept safe and this work will be done under the guidance of a reputed institution. He said that the ground floor of Ram temple will be ready by December 15 and the work on the first floor has also been completed by 80 percent.
Amil Mishra said that 70 percent of the work on the Ram temple is likely to be completed before the consecration ceremony. Meanwhile, the Ram Mandir Trust has started preparations for live telecast of the temple’s consecration ceremony across the country. The Trust has started the work of installing TV screens in temples in every village and town, where the entire ceremony will be telecast live. Trust members said that this will prevent excessive crowding during the Pran Pratishtha program in Ayodhya and at the same time, crores of Ram devotees will get a chance to watch this historic program across the country. According to him, arrangements for bhajan-kirtan are also being made for the devotees in various temples of the country.
Mishra said that the flooring work of Parikrama Marg has also been completed, now the work of laying marble on the floor of Griha Mandap is going on. According to him, the roof of all three floors of the passenger convenience center has been constructed and safety equipment is also being installed. He informed that the work of the entrance gate of the outer wall (‘Parkota’) of Ram temple is also in the final stage and this work will also be completed by the end of November. According to him, 17 pillars of the first floor have been installed and only two pillars are yet to be installed. He expressed hope that the roof of the first floor would be completed by December 15.
