Panipat: A sensational case of rape and murder of a 15 year old girl on September 11 2023 has come to light in Panipat. The accused contractor identified as Kuldeep murdered the girl by hitting her head with a brick after sexually assaulting her, put the body in a bag and threw it in waste on the third floor of the factory located in Sector 25, Part-II under Chandni Bagj police station in Panipat. The mother of the girl a resident of village Hardoi who left her daughter at the factory in the morning approached police station to lodge a complaint when her daughter did not return in the late evening but the concerned police staff took the matter lightly, took no immediate action advising to get printed and distribute the the pamphlets of her missing minor daughter. However, later on it was identified that the contractor Kuldeep had committed the crime and thrown body of minor girl on the third floor in factory wastes enabling to later on throw the body in the canal or at a lonely place
in the presence of the duty magistrate, police recovered the body on Thursday night after 55 days after the murder when police swing into action following strict orders from the Home Minister Anil Vij when victim’s mother appealed to the minister for justice and the police made a major revelation in the case of rape and murder and arrested the accused contractor. who admiitted crime and kept the body in the mortuary. According to information, Chandni Bagh police station had registered tacase of missing girl in this case. when the parents of girl reached Panipat on September 28 and appealed to Haryana Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia for justice who instructed the SP to take action when no action was taken in this matter by the police on the repeated requests of the mother of the victim girl and also made an appeal to the Home Minister and on his strict orders SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat handed over the case to CIA-1.
The CIA-1 in-charge Deepak Kumar checked the CCTV footage of the factory in which the girl was seen going with the contractor inside the factory, but did not return. Police interrogated contractor Kuldeep on suspicion. The police reached the factory late Thursday night in the presence of Duty Magistrate Dr. Krishna Kumar and the body of the girl which was reduced to a was recovered from the room on the third floor of the factory. The accused confessed during police interrogation that he had molested the girl, her neck was pressed and she was also hit on the head with a brick. Police also recovered blood-stained bricks which was sent to the forensic laboratory for investigation. Kuldeep admitted that after killing her the body was thrown in the room. The police kept the body in the mortuary and arrested the accused contractor.
