Role of Haryana’s Rohtak & Ambala firms in successful launching of Chandarayaan-3

Two firms in Haryana have played an important role in successful launching of Chandarayaan-3 the third Indian Lunar expo mission by Indo Space  Research Organization’s (ISRO). Rohtak based firm Aero Fastner Private Limited at IMT Rohtak had supplied over 1.5 lakh high quality nut -bolts for this Chandarayaan-3, said Managing Director  of the firm Jasmer Lathar expressing happiness over the successful landing of this Chandarayaan-3 an ISRO’s dream project, and said he feels himself landed on the moon first, he continued that his firm had made a contract with ISRO about 10 years ago in 2013 for the supply of nut and bolts

Industry in ‘Science City’ Ambala Cantt has also played an important role in this project. The President of Visheshika  Electron Devices Dr. Dr Anil Jain said that the successful testing of rockets and filling of fuel in Chandarayaan-3 was conducted at Shriharikota centre by calibration and testing machine manufactured by him with 30 ton force calibration having up to 450 ton force calibration system manufactured by his team in his manufacturing unit in Industrial Area Ambala Cantt, initially developed in 2008. He said, a similar testing and calibration machines has also been supplied to Vikram Sarabhai Space  Centre, Tiruvanatpuram. Dr. Jain said that this was the first 450 ton capacity powerful load cell calibration machine which took three months to measure and test the load after about 12 years research and development, and later another similar type of machine was supplied to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. Dr Jain expressed proud for manufacturing such a hi-tech testing machine which has been successfuli launched by ISRO..
