Sales girl stolen Rs 1.5 crore jewellery from Tanishq showroom arrested

Rohtak police brought Sonia Sharma (22) permanent resident of Shahjahan Pur in U.P on transit remand. She was working as sales girl at Tanishq showroom near Chhotu Ram Chowk Rohtak since past one and half years and disappeared all of sudden on July 3, 2020 night along with gold ornaments of value worth Rs 1.5 crore kept in her bag instead of showroom chest as usual before closing the shop when showroom manager confirmed according to footage of CCTV camera installed inside the showroom. According to information,  Sonia lifted jewellery in a conspiracy with his boy friend Himanshu resident of Mathura in U.P with whom she was in affairs since past six months. Both left for Noida on the same night and stayed in a hotel. Finding jewellery missing from the chest along with sales girl showroom manager Deepak Jain lodged a complaint with Arya Nagar police station Rohtak and told that Sonia was appointed through an agency. Police constituted two teams to investigate the case and arrest accused.

Having a clash with his male paramour Himanshu on July 4 over distribution of stolen gold ornaments Himanshu left hotel disappointed after collecting part of jewellery, Sonia too left for Shahjahan Pur in a taxi on the same evening. G.B. Rana DSP Headquarter Rohtak told that Police Cyber Crime Cell traced Sonia at Shahjahan Pur according to location of her mobile phone and sent a police team for her arrest when Sonia staying with her cousin sister at Shahjahan Pur. Sonia when trying to sell gold ornaments at jewellery shops suspected stolen gold ornaments was already arrested by Shahjahan police.
