Sandeep Jain Re-elected FISME President

New Delhi: The Central Executive Committee of Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) has reelected the incumbent President Sandeep K. Jain for the year 2025-26.

An IIT-Kanpur alumnus, Jain was elected President in 2024-25.

Speaking to KNN, Sandeep Jain was wax eloquent about his current tenure and thanked the CEC colleagues for reposing in faith in him for next year as well.

“The brief period of one year has enriched me immensely. It is a matter of great satisfaction that with amazing team at FISME- both present and past office bearers and officials in the secretariat, we have been able to make an inedible mark on long standing issues of MSMEs”, he said.

“The Agenda of the year is full with ambitious programmes and I am eagerly looking forward to contributing to them in the tenure”, he added.  

The twenty-one member committee was convened virtually under the guidance of Election Officer Ashok Agarwal which re-elected Jain as President unanimously.     

FISME, established in 1967, is a large network of over 743 MSME associations both sectoral and geographical, reaches out to over 2 millions MSMEs.

Some of the important institutions affiliated with FISME are: Center of Excellence for Aspiring MSMEs (Joint initiative of IFCI-FISME) and IPR Facilitation Center (under Ministry of MSME).   FISME also acts as Secretariat to ‘Friends of MSMEs in Parliament’ a group MPs working on MSME issues.
