Satish Singh to be conferred with Rashtriya Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Patrakarita Shikhar Samman, 2024

On Annual Festival cum Literature Festival-2024, Nirdaliya Publication, Bhopal will honour the litterateurs, journalists, educationists and social workers of 15 states of the country at Gandhi Bhawan, Bhopal on 7th July 2024. On this occasion, Shri Satish Singh, banker, poet, storyteller and senior columnist will be honoured with the Rashtriya Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Patrakarita Shikhar Samman, 2024. This award will be given to Shri Singh for spreading financial awareness among the society through articles focused on economic and banking topics.

Shri Singh is a Postgraduate in Hindi Literature, Mass Communication and Business Management in finance and has also done Diploma in Hindi Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi in the session 1994-95. Shri Singh has been writing freelance on current affairs, banking and economic topics for the last 15 years and has also been actively involved in mainstream journalism for 5 years.

More than 2500 articles, 500 poems and 5 dozen stories of Shri Singh have been published. A music album of Shri Singh “Piya O Re Piya” was released on more than 100 digital platforms in December 2021. His 3 books have also been published and he has been honoured with more than a dozen awards.

Shri Singh’s native place is Patna, Bihar. He is currently working as Head of Learning and Development Department & Assistant General Manager at the Local Head Office of State Bank of India, Gift City, Gandhinagar, Gujrat.
