In view of large number of embezzlements alleged in registration of properties in all districts in Haryana state during year 2017 to 2021the leaders of all political parties as well as residents willing to get their properties registered being harassed by the employees in Tehsil offices in the state when raised a question Chief Minister Haryana directed all Divisional Commissioners in the state immediate thorough investigation in all property registration cases finalized during five years from 2017 to2021by Divisional Commissioners in the state and it was identified that 64557 property registration cases in the state which included large number of property registration cases during the period when state was in the grip of COVID-19 epidemic outbreak were having embezzlements and finalized on the basis of fake documents as such 786 employees including officers working in Tehsil offices in the state were also charge-sheeted.
According to information, during lock down period declared in the state agents as well as land mafias developed unauthorized colonies in the state were seen mushrooming in Tehsil offices when large numbers of property registration cases were finalized in these unauthorized colonies violating rules. During recent Monsoon Vidhan Sabha session when Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautaala giving clean chit to all alleged accuse government employees said that no embezzlements have been observed in all registration cases between period 2017 to 2021. Surprisingly, the reports submitted by Divisional Commissioners in the state have been dumped without action. However, State Vigilance Bureau Haryana had arrested both Tehsildar and District Town Planner Karnal allegedly involved incorruption worth crores of rupees and violated section7 in most of registration cases. Chautala said, there is no fall in revenue collection in this regard.
Information reveals, out of total number of 786 employees found involved in violating rules in 64557 registration cases with effect from 3rd April 2017 to 13th August 2021 included 133 Sub Registrar, 97 additional Sub Registrar, 156 clerks and more than 400 Patwari. While addressing media persons at Chandigarh Abhay Chautala strongly condemned ruling BJP-JJP government in the state misusing their powers and encouraging corruption in government offices thus saving the skin of corrupt employees for the reasons best known to them and causing inconvenience to people in the state. He expressed surprise over Dushyant Chautala’s comments in recent Vidhan Vidhan Sabha session giving clean chit to 64557 registration cases identified finalized on embezzled documents and NOCs as well as employees in government offices responsible for the same. Expressing surprise, INLD leader has demanded immediate investigation in this case by State Vigilance Bureau to bring truth before public.
