Scheme launched to wipe out unemployment in Haryana by 2024: Khatter

Addressing media persons Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter announced to wipe out unemployment from the state completely by year 2024. He was speaking at the inauguration of first ‘Har Hith Store’ at Panchkula by Haryana Agro Industries Corporation. Khatter said, the scheme has been launched to create self-employment opportunities for unemployed youths in the state by opening such stores for youths between age 18 to 35 years in every town across the state as well as in rural areas having 3000 population. Among those present at the occasion were Gian Chand Gupta Chairman Haryana Vidhan Sabha, J.P. Dalal Agriculture Minister Dr Banarsi Das Cooperative Minister, Sumita Misra Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Rakesh Daulatabad MLA.

Khatter said, according to recent survey, nearly 6% unemployment has been recorded in Haryana state which also include aged persons claiming themselves in the category of unemployed. He said, based upon the slogan “Berozgari Mukt-Haryana Rozgar’ Haryana state government has launched ‘Har Hith Stores’ all over in the state by Haryana Agro Industries Corporation in the state to wipe out unemployment and aims to open 100 stored in the state by October 2, 2021. Khatter said, target has been fixed to open 2000 stores in the state in a year in the first phase followed by second phase to open another5000 stores in Haryana each in 220 yards area likely to provide employment opportunities to 4-5 persons in each store.

Chairman of Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Rakesh Daulatabad told that they have already tied up with nearly 50 prominent firms to sell their products in these stores. Khatter said that unemployed youths will be able to earn minimum Rs 15000 every month and for their welfare financial assistance be arranged by the state government to these unemployed youths under ‘Mudra Scheme’ and in case youths fail to earn desired profits Haryana state government has decided to pay them Rs 3000 every month. Chief Minister told media persons that according to Family Aadhar Card it has been identified that there are nearly25000 families having annual income less that Rs One lakh in the state and state government assure them every help to increase their income.
