During the discussions, numerous aspects related to the prevailing security situation in the Union Territory were addressed. The ongoing situation in the Middle East was deliberated upon, and contingency scenarios were discussed to ensure preparedness for any potential developments.

While there have not been widespread protests in the region concerning the situation in Gaza, peaceful protests were observed in certain parts of the valley.

The congregational prayers were prohibited at the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar on two consecutive Fridays, reportedly due to concerns about pro-Palestine protests that could disrupt the peace in J&K.
