7 hours search operation by 200 policemen at gangster Bhau’s native village

Seven hours door-to-door search operation, which started early morning hours at around 4 AM was conducted by nearly 200 policemen from CIA Staff, AVT and Reserve Forces last sunday at the native village of gangster Himanshu alias Bhau Ritori and Rasulpur in Rohtak district in Haryana state, in which raids were conducted in the houses of close-associates of the gangster and several youths suspected involved in criminal activities along with Bhau were taken in the custody. The raiding teams also seized a large number of documents related to land and properties illegally encroached by the gangster. Information reveals that police had combed operations twice against gangster Bhau earlier also, against whom as many as 26 FIRs allegedly involving serious criminal offences were registered at several police stations in Rohtak and Jhajjar districts. Police conducted raids at his hideouts in several places in Delhi and Haryana in the months April and June, 2023 and seized several doubtful documents.

According to information, the criminal record of Himanshu alias Bhau started at the younger stage when he was a minor of age below 18, when he shot dead a youth and was arrested by the police. He was sent to a child reforms centre at Hisar when he managed to slip and meanwhile came in contact with Naveen Bali a member of Neeraj Bawana gang and he was involved in large number of criminal cases including  murder, kidnappings, attempts to murder, extorsion, ransom demand and many other cases of serious nature. In order to avoid arrest by the police, Himanshu alias Bhau managed to flee abroad with the help of a fake passport. Information also reveals that presently Bhau is operating his criminal network in India with the help of his associates from America and sometime ago police increased the reward for his arrest from Rs 25000 to 1.5 lakh.

However, police have not disclosed the outcome of the recent highly confidential search operation conducted last Sunday at his native village Ritoli and Rasulpur. However, according to Logesh Kumar ASP, five police teams of 200 policemen seized more than three dozen mobile phones from suspected persons, besides taking in custody few persons suspected involved in criminal activities, and the service-lance report of these mobile phones is being prepared. He said that the search operation was conducted under most confidential manners in which police teams started operations in the villages in early morning hours when residents were in fast sleep.
