Shahid Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor rock Marks & Spencer fashion show

It was Bollywood’s Shahid Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor’s  fashion ‘Night Out’ in colourful clothing, cheery attitude and ‘Off-The-Cuff’’ one-liners that had their audience rocking with laughter, even  as models swayed and sashayed in animal prints, stripes and a variety of designs and colours at the Marks & Spencer new ‘Spring Summer’ 2019 collections here recently.

Marks & Spencer, the iconic British brand with 71 stores across India, was highlighting its new range of stylish on-trend pieces for Indian customers, which were showcased by show-stoppers and celebrity ambassadors – Bollywood’s Shahid Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor – along with the other models in groovy, bold new looks and fresh silhouettes.

The Bollywood superstar was at his witty best as he described his attitude in clothing as “important to express yourself through work and clothes” and emphasized that “he would be taking home the beautiful modeling prints that he was wearing.”

To a question about fans following stars lifestyles and whether he followed anyone in this manner, Kapoor quipped “I follow 150 people for personal business or so,” and then smiled mysteriously as the crowd roared for more details. “I had no idea about my looks, which are defined by the character that I play – not by my likes and dislikes – in my films like Padmavat, Kabir Singh, as it’s not personal in any movie.”

“I hope I have evolved as I have made all sorts of fashion mistakes,” the filmstar smilingly admitted, while noting “Fashionable is being comfortable in who you are — rather than copying others – by  expressing yourself, and in films we display what we stand for and carry it with confidence.”
