The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Friday conducted raids at multiple locations in Anantnag and Pulwama in south Kashmir, as part of an ongoing investigation into a terror-funding case.
Officials stated that the raids were carried out in connection with the “illegal raising, layering, and laundering of proceeds of crime” by the accused individuals.
Earlier on Wednesday, the SIA had also conducted raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir in relation to a terror-funding case.
In another development, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle near Jawhar tunnel in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
