Six having Pak links threatening Haryana MLAs arrested

Lot of controversy took place in Haryana state few days ago when four Vidhan Sabha MLAs in the state Surinder Panwar and Subhash Gangoli received threatening telephone calls demanding ransom amount on 25th July 2022, whereas another two MLAs Renu Bala and Sanjay Singh received threatening telephone calls on 27th July 2022 on Dubai telephone numbers suspected received from Pakistan demanding money on behalf of terrorists Goldi Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi and Neeraj Bawana.

However, teams of Special Task Force (STF) and CID Haryana in joint operation succeeded in arresting a racket of six persons which included two persons from Maharashtra identified as Dulesh Alam hailing from Champaran district and Badre Alam a permanent resident of Basti district in U.P. Another four persons in the racket were from Bihar state identified as Saroj Pandit resident of Pokhrang in Mirzapur district, Radhey Shyam alias Amit Yadav resident of Gopalganj, Manoj Kumar and Sadiq Anwar. During search police recovered from them 24 mobile phones, 27 sim cards, 73 Debit cards, 24 bank account books, a car and over Rs 3.87 lakh currency notes. All arrested were remanded to police custody for eight days.

Investigation reveals that members of international gang used to make telephone threatening calls from Pakistan on Dubai telephone numbers to spread terror in the country. Talking to media persons both Satish Balan Director General STF and Alok Kumar Mittal Chief of Haryana CID told that gang of antisocial elements was having network in Dubai involved in transferring amount through bank accounts in India on commission basis and used to operate network while sitting in Pakistan to spread terrorism.  Information also revealed that the gang members also cheated large number residents in the country offering prizes in the name of Amitabh Bachan’s TV serial ‘Kon Banega Crorepati’ attracted headlines in the newspapers for a long time.
