Haryana police on a clue raided a house at Yamunanagar and arrested six hiding since after attending Tabligi Zamaat event at Nizamuddin New Delhi. Those arrested were identified as Sadeem, Aarif, Shehzad, Nafees, Mohammad and Jashan. Police suspects that large number of ‘Zamaatis’ are still hiding in the state in spite of repeated warnings to surrender themselves. Social Justice Minister in centre Ratan Lal Kataria also Member Parliament from Ambala Lok Sabha constituency addressing a meeting with the officers of Ambala district at Panchayat Bhavan Ambala City said that hundred percent lock down required to control fast spreading corona virus and the country has been succeeded in observing nearly 75% lock down so far. He said, there is immediate need for social distance in banks, hospitals, shops dealing in essential commodities and social gatherings to control corona virus and the state government has declared that shops dealing in essential commodities to remain open only between 9 AM to 5 PM. Among those present in the meeting were Aseem Goel MLA Ambala City, Jagdeeo Dhanda ADC, Abhishek Jorwal SP, Dr Kuldeep Singh CMO, Parth Gupta MCA Commissioner and all SDMs in the district.
Kataria said, micro plan to control corona virus has been prepared. He disclosed, nearly 3500 persons are staying in as many as 21 shelter homes in the district getting three times meals daily arranged by the government.. He told that COVID-19 hospital for the treatment of patients suffering from corona has been set up in Adesh Medical College near Ambala, whereas another Super Specialities hospital Healing Touch in Ambala City has been kept reserved and both Mission Hospital Ambala City and Rotary Hospital Ambala Cantt has also

Dr Kuldeep Singh CMO said that ample stock of PPE Kits for doctors and medical staff has been arranged to fight corona. He said, six corona positive cases were identified at Ambala, which include five ‘Zamaatis’ and a youth from Punjab arrived at Ambala for the treatment. CMO told that as many as samples of 146 suspected persons sent for testing have been identified negative and report of 44 samples are yet awaited. Information reveals that with the

According to information, as many as 51 corona positive cases has been identified in neighbouring Punjab state in past three days and 11 patients have died so far. Information also reveals, 16 new corona positive cases were reported in a couple of days which include six cases at Mansa (presently having 11 corona positive cases), three corona positive cases at Jalandhar, two corona positive cases each at Ludhiana and Sangrur and one corona positive case each at Amritsar, Barnala and Mohali. According to health department in Punjab, samples of 131 suspected persons have been sent for testing and among two deaths reported in past 24 hours include a 59 years old Praveen Sharma resident of Jalandhar and about 50 years old Karamjot Kaur resident of Barnala both admitted in the hospitals on April 5. Meanwhile, 88 years old woman suffering from corona virus returned from Italy along with 13 others died at Medanta Hospital Gurugram in past 24 hours. She was admitted in the hospital on April 5 when she was confirmed corona positive.
