SKM burn effigies of Government at various locations in Amritsar

Amritsar : The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) have observed  ‘Black Friday’ on Friday in the wake of recent clashes between the farmers and the security forces that resulted in the death of a 24-year-old farmer, Shubhkaran Singh at Khanauri Punjab border .

Here in Amritsar, a large group of agitating   farmers burnt effigy of the Centre Government at New Golden Gate, the main threshold (entrypoint) of Amritsar city while showing anger against the alleged atrocities being inflicted on farmers by Harayna cops.

SKM leader comrade Rattan Singh Randhawa said at various border villages including Doekey, Mahima Pandori Modhey and Ratokey etc farmers carried out protests.

Randhawa said that at all the protesting sites; hundreds of farmers participated in the protest and took part in burning of effigies of the Government.
