Yamuna Nagar : The Sports Carnival was an action-packed day of thrilling competitions, showcasing the athletic prowess of over 500 students from Classes Pre-Nursery to 12.The students had been training tirelessly under the guidance of experienced coaches to demonstrate their skills in various track and field events.
After the Inaugural ceremony on 16 October 2024, the Sports Carnival comprised several events, including sprint, relay, long jump, shot put and many other novelty races.
The Carnival witnessed participation from students across classes Pre Nursery to 12th.
The closing of the Sports Carnival was held on 14 November 2024 with Ishan Malhotra as the Chief Guest(Cricketer, IPL) and Shiven Sharma as the guest of Honour.
The Sports Carnival was declared open by the chief guest after the lighting of the torch by the National Achievers followed by the inspection of the parade in a grand convoy.
Dr.Chandana Lal, Principal , St.Thomas School Jagadhri,the backbone of the event said that it was a blessing of God Almighty that such an event was conducted at such a scale
The Carnival that spanned over a month, encouraged students to achieve excellence and touch the zenith of fitness and teamwork.
The Himalaya House lifted the trophy for the Best March past while the Aravali House won the trophy for the Cock House.
