Superfood valley launches its flagship product “good monk” in Bengaluru

Bengaluru : Superfoods Valley,  a Nutrition and Food-Techs startup based in Bangalore Launched its flagship product “Good Monk” a one of a kind nutrition mix, during the press conference and event attended by eminent members of scientific council. The company also unveiled a new app that helps educate users and creates transparency about nutritive value of the food we consume.

Present  during press conference were Dr B Sesikeran, former director National institute of Nutrition (NIN) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Sheela Krishnaswamy, Renowned Nutrition and wellness Expert, Dr shovan Ganguli, Food Researcher and Scientist, and Dr P R Krishnaswamy, EX-Director and Founder, Protein Foods and Nutrition Development Association of India, who Highlighted the impotence and need of such production in the Indian market during the launch here.

Superfoods valley, founded by Amarpreet Singh  Aanand and Sahiba Kaur, aims to bridge the nutrition gap and make nutrition easy and accessible for all. Good Monk is the first step in the direction. The product is scientifically designed and tested and helps plug a family’s daily nutrition gap without altering the colour, odour and taste of the good (NO COT).

Commenting on the Lunch, Amarpreet Singh Anand, Founder of Superfoods Valley, said, “ What’s most worrisome is that the urban upper-middle-class households are suffering from lack of proper nutrition in significant way and it’s not  because they lack access to good food, but because of the modern lifestyle and eating habits, So instead of chasing the family to eat nutritiously and continuously suffering  from nutrition gap in their daily diet – we are solving to adding health and nutrition to whatever they love to eat. Our vision is to be a part of Namakdani, Hence, “Good Monk” a product that is designed to fill the nutrition gap among Indian families” he added.

 App “ NIQ” launched during pressconference  is India’s first personalised Food Recommendation app which helps consumers make smarter food choices as Food and nutrition transparency is another challenge that appears to be on the checklist of many consumers today owing to the rise in non-communicable diseases and lifestyle disorders.
