Tabligi Zamaat; 107 booked in Haryana, passports seized

According to Haryana Home, Health and Sports Minister Anil Vij, state police registered  cases against 107 persons in five Haryana districts Faridabad, Nuh, Palwal, Panipat and Ambala arrived in the state after attending Tabligi Zamaat event at Nizamuddin New Delhi and seized their passports, large number of them were residents of other countries arrived in India on tourist  visa illegally spreading their religion. Vij disclosed that out of 44 cases identified corona positive in past three days in the state after attending Tabligi Zamaat event 17 persons were taken into possession by the police in Palwal district. Information reveals, first corona positive case has been detected in CM city Karnal in past 24 hours. Out of nine cases identified corona positive reported in past 24 hours in Haryana eight corona positive cases were detected at Nuh and Gurugram, four of them were ‘Zamaatis’. According to state health department information13 corona positive patients have been cured so far in the state and discharged from hospitals, which include nine persons at Gurugram, 2 persons at Panipat and one persons each at Palwal and Faridabad.

Talking to media persons, Anil Vij told that 7346 isolation beds have been arranged in hospitals in Haryana state for corona positive patients. There are two laboratories in the state involved in testing suspected persons at present and permission has been given by the government to another five private laboratories in the state. Vij said that cases under section attempt to murder has been registered against six ‘Zamaatis’ all residents of village Lapra in Yamunanagar district arrested by the police while hiding in a house at Yamunanagar and in-spite of repeated warnings failed to surrender to police and efforts are being made to find out to whom they were in contact after return from Tabligi Zamaat. All six persons have been sent to isolation ward for 14 days.

Meanwhile, Manoj Yadav DGP Haryana  told media persons that 4539 cases has been registered against those persons in the state violated lock down directions. He said, 948 FIRs has been lodged by police in the state in which 1374 persons arrested. He said,5401 vehicles owners have been fined so far in the state.
