Teacher accused of raping a student declared guilty in the court after about four years

In order to achieve this harmony, it is necessary to determine the situation of the school correctly and to manage the risks defined as uncertainty and opportunities for the future. The most important condition for making the right interventions against risks is to develop measures by taking advantage of the experiences of people who are exposed to risks and who are most affected by these risks. In this study conducted in this context, the opinions of school administrators and teachers on the measures that can be taken for risks that are considered to be of high importance in schools were examined. According to the results of the research carried out in qualitative design, regular inspections and risk analysis of schools are among the measures that can be taken against risks with high scores, that the administrators appointed on the basis of merit are open to communication, fair, competent and impartial, and school staff create a corporate culture based on love, respect and mutual trust and the recommendations to respect disciplinary rules come to the fore.

The victim alleged, “the teacher Rajbir used to teach drawing in the school, the teacher had a bad eye on me. He used to tease me in private by giving me chocolates, toffees, pens and pencils. The accused teacher took me to a field some distance away from the school and forcibly raped me there. He threatened to kill me if I told anyone.” She said, Inspector threatened her in the police station and doctors made her wait for three and half hours in the hospital during the medical examination. The victim told her parents about this. Her parents went to the school and explained to the accused drawing teacher Rajbir not to harass their daughter. Despite this, the accused drawing teacher continued to harashe student.

 The victim further told that on 5 April 2020, the said drawing teacher took me to the fields on his scooty. There he locked me in a room and had natural and unnatural sex with her. Kept her hostage for four hours. Somehow her brother got the information and he came to the fields searching for her. She said, during that time, the teacher also beat up my brother and used abusive casteist language. The lawyer said that in this case that lasted for four years, statements of the victim, her parents, her brother and other witnesses were recorded. After hearing arguments of the lawyers of the victim and the accused on February 20, the court convicted the accused drawing teacher. He was convicted under sections of kidnapping, hostage taking, rape and threatening to kill. No evidence of SC ST Act was found in the court.
