New Delhi : Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will meet PM Narendra Modi with the issue of “deprived Bengal against the Center for a long time”. She claimed that the Center has withheld money dues to the state in various fields including 100 days work, Awas Yojna, health schemes. This time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also sang in the tune of Bengal CM & only famous Indian Lady in the wold politics. He claimed that the Center is disrupting all the developmental works started by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab.
After Mamata, Kejriwal became the second leader of the India Alliance to rally against central deprivation. Recently, Mamata said that the Center should immediately pay the dues of various public welfare schemes of the state. If not, BJP will have to leave the Power in the Centre. MNERGA, health, housing, rural employment scheme money is withheld. The cetre is not paying their long dues to states. At the same time, Kejriwal also claimed that Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal do not want the development of the state.
It is to be noted that the Chief Minister of Delhi made all such allegations by joining the Vikas Kranti rally. He said, “Many parties are disappointed with the success of AAP in Delhi & Punjab. They banded together and wooed the Center to freeze the state’s arrears. They told the Centre, don’t let AAP work. If they do like this, we (rival teams) will be finished, they are in dirty politics. Even, Punjab’s dues for health have been withheld”. Even, the state did not give its due share from the revenue due to GST. On December 20, he will sit in a meeting with the Prime Minister to collect the dues. Incidentally, Kejri also claimed that Rs 5,500 crore is stuck in Punjab’s rural development project. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi since 2014. They are the largest National political party against BJP in Delhi and Punjab in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Smriti Irani on Sunday took a dig at Kejriwal saying, “There is no guarantee that how long the Delhi Chief Minister will stay out of jail. Half of his cabinet is already in jail. I know that you (BJP leader Manoj Tiwari and Delhi BJP district president) have no expectations from this government. Because, how long he himself will be out of jail, there is no guarantee.” Smriti fired back at Kejri for saying this at an event in Delhi.
