Ambala: Haryana Home Minister. Anil Vij wjile addressing media persons here at hisn camp house said that the slogans written against Baniyas and Brahmins on the walls of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi are very dangerous.. He said that they seem to be part of some conspiracy like the Bharat Todo Abhiyan and such mentality should be strictly crushedimmediately..Vij was responding to a question asked by media persons today regarding slogans written on the walls of JNU against Baniyas and Brahmins. Vij said that Brahmins have kept the religion and culture of our country alive be it happiness or sorrow as such Brahmins are called and verses are read according to our culture. Similarly, Baniyas have also played an important role in the trade of this country.
In response to another question regarding Uniform Civil Code in the manifesto during elections in Gujarat and announcement regarding implementation of Uniform Civil Code by Madhya Pradesh and its implementation in Haryana also Home Minister said that even in Haryana implementation of Uniform Civil Code is being considered and studied, it will be made soon he added. Vij said that all are equal citizens for the government, no religion, He said, caste and region is important for the government, that’s why there is talk of making Uniform Civil Code such as one law, which will apply to all.
In response to a question regarding the formation of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Vij said that the Haryana Government has announced 38 members of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India. He saaid, among these members, Bhupender Singh Bindra and Sudarshan Singh Sehgal from Ambala Cantonment have been made members, besides this, three more members will be announced. Incidently, at the same time, the newly appointed members Bhupender Singh Bindra and Sudarshan Singh Sehgal reached the residence of Home Minister Anil Vij along with the representatives of the Sikh community, gratitude the Home Minister Anil Vij.
It is to mention here that the Home Department of Haryana Government has issued an order regarding the formation of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. Under these orders four members from Ambala, one member from Bhiwani, one member from Faridabad, one member from Fatehabad, one member from Hisar, one member from Jind, four members from Kaithal, four members from Karnal, three members from Kurukshetra, one from Mahendergarh, One member from Nuh, two from Panchkula, two from Panipat, one from Rohtak, six from Sirsa and five from Yamunanagar have been included in the committee.
