The US Presidential Poll: Aggressive Feline Locks  Paws with TomCat in the Battle for Supremacy

The Democratic Party Presidential nominee Kamala Harris, calling herself a Childless cat who supports abortion as a woman’s right, has not only received attention from the American Tomcats, but from many across the continents. India is no exception.

It is difficult to accept that feudalism has been buried in the world’s most powerful democracy, but its fangs appear to be challenging mankind even in the 21st century that too led by its democratic leaders.

The reasons for this setback to common people’s freedom could be traced to the unprecedented communication technologies converting the earth into a global village. Being the only superpower, the US has automatically become the village chief, copying the tenets of a grammar of the feudal lords of the medieval world. It was for Kamala being an inheritor of the Indian genes having the millennia of human existence to reinvigorate the cherished American dream. However, being a victim of both racial and gender biases, she and her peers occupying key positions in American politics, it is natural for them to accept that  the Indian women have been enjoying democratic rights since 1947, when the British finally left the Indian shores. On the other hand, the American women got their voting rights on August 26, 1920., while it became an independent country on July four, 1776. It took 244 years for women to be inducted in the system of governance as a voter. The American’s inability to elect even a brilliant woman like Hillary Clinton to become president speaks volumes of the American mindset.

Another dimension of Kamala’s frustration could be measured by the fact that she could barely admit that the sex-descrimination is embedded in  all the faiths having the Abrahaminic roots. In a few Islamic countries, women have the voting rights, but the value of their ballot is less than that of men. Pakistan and Bangladesh could be exceptions, where the brilliant women Muslim leaders took them to the path of political stability and prosperity, but they were either assassinated or toppled with the help of the Muslim clergy.

It cannot be denied that Kamala Harris has embarked upon a mission like Don Quixote, the outbursts of the American oligarchy even against allowing women to go for abortion. It is difficult to predict the impact of her endorsement of abortion on the election prospects.

In an innocent humor, an Indian diplomat has jokingly observed that Kamala’s commitment to a woman’s right to go for abortion, perhaps, could have been fine tuned if she had cared to compare the rights of women in India. She might have been better advised to consult  India’s most cherished Tomcat i.e. PM Narendra Modi.

Since polls are forthcoming, it is also possible that Modi might have avoided meeting her or Donald Trump. Also, being a brilliant cat, she might have been hesitant to reach the most cherished Tomcat of the earth.   It can be attributed to feline instinct. Yet, instead of being continued to be overwhelmed by her mentor, Barack Obama, a former President and decorated with the Nobel Peace Prize, it is high time for her to shed off the prejudices of the past to reach Modi’s initiative in unshackling Muslim sisters by his one daring act, making  triple divorce illegal. Most of the members of India’s enlightened society, consider Obama’s advice to New Delhi for taking care of Muslims is not only ridiculous, but reveals his mindset of the colonial masters, who have always been considering the Indians just dumb wits.

In Indian politics, the feline presence has always been influencing politics before independence and also in later years. For Indians, even those converted to any Abrahaminic faith believe in the theory of karma, and respect for the daughters. Their beauty has to be admired and respected.

In the Indian politics, Tarkeshwari Sinha, rare blending of beauty and talent also a friend of material uncle, once told this author that did I meet

the sister-in-law of  the then Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif, who was living in a flat in our Delhi’s high end apartment. My denial made her angry, if not furious. She not only scolded me for not admiring her celestial beauty, but an apology for being the nephew of someone known for his romantic pursuits.

Kamala’s relentless pursuit for changing the mindset of the Americans, is indeed a formidable task. It is yet to be known how the Americans will react to her observation as a Childless cat, but in India the abusive language against the then PM Indira Gandhi, used by none other but the President Richard Nixon is well archived in  her elephantine memory.

He and his security advisor, Henry Kissinger, called her a bitch. It may be a little embarrassing for a country admired for Hollywood and fashion shows to admire the beauty God has given to mankind, not to commit the sin of procreation, but to lead a meaningful life on the earth. The pregnancy  heralds the arrival of spring in life, but the American mindset has to be emancipated.

Kamala Harris, who shares Indian genes being daughter of a highly accomplished woman, should have also supported the right of an American woman to choose a partner for giving birth to a child only from an accomplished person. It is hoped that the Childless cat would dare to induct reforms if she is allowed to occupy the Whitehouse.
