Those who commit such crimes should be hanged, that’s the only solution says Vij

Ambala:  Former Home Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij claimed victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying, “The regional party is now finished, so the contest is only with Congress, and we will easily defeat Congress because they have committed so many sins that these sins themselves will drown them.” Expressing concern over the increasing incidents of rape in the country, Vij said this country holds women in high regard, so such acts cannot be tolerated, and strict laws should be made for this, ‘those (guilty) who commit such crimes should be hanged, that’s the only solution. Anil Vij, known as the ‘Gabbar of Haryana,’ was responding to questions asked by media persons here. Vij said, the list for Jammu and Kashmir has been released, and Haryana’s the first list has also been released. Regarding the question of extending the election date, he said that he believes the date might be extended.

Expressing concern over the increasing incidents of rape in the country, Vij said, “This country holds women in high regard. During the Dwapar Yuga, the Mahabharata was fought over the disrobing of a woman, and in the Treta Yuga, Lanka was burned after the abduction of Mata Sita. So, these acts cannot be tolerated, and strict laws should be made. Those who commit such crimes should be hanged; that’s the only solution.”  Vij raised the question of why this trend is increasing in society and suggested that sociologists should think about this. He also said that sociologists, religious, and social leaders should come out of their homes because history is witness that all evils in society have been eradicated by raising awareness among the people. He added that criminals should be punished and society should be made aware as well.

Commenting on the clash between Congress and BJP workers over pamphlets in Rohtak, Vij criticized Congress, saying, “Congress is starting to show its true colors.” He added that “there’s nothing has happened or is going to happen, and yet they see themselves as the government in power; that’s why they are in such a state.” Vij questioned, “Is Congress going to bring back its era of hooliganism?”

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct a caste census immediately or the next Prime Minister will, Anil Vij said, “I don’t understand why Rahul Gandhi is insisting on a caste census. As far as I know, and considering their (Congress’s) history, they have been responsible for the partition of the country based on religion, and they are accused of mass killings. In 1984, they were responsible for the killing of Sikhs, during which 3,400 Sikhs were martyred. Rahul Gandhi’s father justified it by saying that when a big tree falls, the earth shakes, but now whose earth do they want to shake?” Expressing his anger, Vij said, “The Hindu-Muslim conflict hasn’t settled yet, and now they want to pit caste against caste. This is their policy, but it won’t happen because the country is one and will remain one.”

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s statement that love will conquer hate in Jammu and Kashmir, Vij sarcastically remarked, “The merchants of love and the peddlers of hate are talking about Jammu and Kashmir, where thousands of people were sacrificed from the time of independence until the abrogation of Article 370, turning the paradise on earth into hell. Vij pointed out that Congress was in power for 55 years, and it was they who introduced Article 370 and created a separate flag for Kashmir. He said, ‘We have to remind them repeatedly, but now, after the abrogation of Article 370, peace is returning, and killings have decreased by 70%.’ Vij challenged Rahul Gandhi, asking him to clarify whether he supports or opposes the abrogation of Article 370 before setting foot there.”
