Threat to blast Six Railway Stations

SP Railways Haryana Dhiraj Kumar Setia and RPF Commandant Raghuveer declared high alert at Ambala Cantt railway station from where more than 300 trains pass every day and increased security measures after receipt of threatening call at the control room of Divisional Railway Manager office Ambala Cantt on April 1 afternoon to blast six railway stations Ambala Cantt, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Jammu, Darbhanga and Patna railway stations. The caller from other side identified himself Masoor Ajar younger brother of dreaded terrorist Laden from Alkaida speaking from Darbhanga. According to police cyber cell investigation, the location of the call from mobile number no. 8207873941 was traced from Ambala itself and the mobile phone number was from Madhubani in Bihar. The called warned that installation of explosive at the railway stations was under process likely to play havoc any time. Ram Bachan SHO GRP Ambala Cantt said that checking of passengers luggage inside the trains as well as at the platforms especially at Railway Rest House, waiting hall, refreshment room, railway stalls and near UTS counter have been intensified and all vendors as well as loaders at the railway station have been alerted to keep an eye over suspected persons and luggage. He told that a case has been registered under section 505(1)(B), 506 IPC. According to Mohit Handa SP Ambala security measures have been enhanced at all sensitive places including cantonment area, around air force station, IOC terminal, near petrol pumps and religious places in the area. Earlier, on September 25, 2018, a similar threat was also received by a letter from terrorist group Lashkar-E-Toiba to blast Ambala Cantt railway station as well army offices on October 20, 2018 and November 10, 2018.
