CIA Staff Fatehabad police arrested three persons smuggling heroine of value worth lakhs in fake ambulance van at Fatehabad. Mohinder Singh Sub Inspector while on patrolling duty got secret information that drugs are being smuggled in a ambulace coming from Delhi side on way to Punajb via Haryana and stopped an ambulace on the national highway. He got suspected and informed Subhash Chander DSP arrived at the the spot immediately and found three persons sitting in the ambulance van: a patients having burn injuries on both hands lying on back seat later identified fake patient and two others including driver sitting on front seats. The person driving the vehicle failed to produce any documents as regard ambulace van and during search police team recovered 120 gm heroine from them. During preliminary investigation they admitted brough heroine from Delhi and going to Punjab vis Fatehabad and were smuggling drugs aince a long time.

Arrested youths were identified as Hardeep Singh  Walia alias Deep resident of village Badal in Muktsar district, Raju Singh  resident of Baba Deep Singh Nagar Bhatinda and Ratan Singh alias Harpreet Singh redident of Ajit Road Bhatinda. Cases under NDPS Act and section144 were registered against three.
