Amritsar, July 29 -Three of a family who were travelling on motorcycle were killed in a fatal road accident with a school bus here today.
Confirming about the accident, police said the accident occurred at the bordering town Ajnala at village Punga. Four people, who were riding on motorcycle, fell down when a speedy school bus hit the bike from rear, killing three people on the spot and leaving one seriously injured.
Police said among dead there were two females including one three years old girl and one middle aged man identified as Heera Masih who was driving the bike at the time of accident. Police said one seriously injured lady who was admitted in the hospital was still described as critical.
After the accident, people of a nearby village gathered on the spot who in a fit of anger damaged the bus and driver of the bus has been arrested by the police, said police.
