Two youths arrested in attempt to rob ATM

Two youths identified as  Pradeep Kumar and Praveen Kumar residents of Parshu Ram Nagar Ambala City were arrested by police while attempting to rob Bank of Baroda ATM at Durga Nagar on Ambala-Hisar road at Friday-Saturday mid night at around 1.30 am in the second case of ATM robbery at Ambala in a week when a gang of eight youths took away from Central Bank of India ATM at Saha near Ambala Cantt machine carrying nearly Rs 18.5 lakh currency notes and arrested by police soon after the incident.

Police took into possession gas cutter and few tools lying inside ATM According to bank manager, ATM machine was carrying Rs 8 lakh currency notes. Arrested youths were produced before Duty Magistrate Ambala on March 3 and remanded to police custody.
